Privacy notice
This notice describes how Rondanini Publishing® Ltd (“we”, “us”) handles personal data submitted via the contact form on this site. The product itself is sold as self-hosted software that runs in your own infrastructure; this notice covers only the marketing site and its contact form.
1. What we collect
When you submit the contact form, we receive:
- Identity: the name and work email address you supply.
- Context: the company name, role, and free-text message you supply.
- Technical: the IP address from which the request was sent and the browser’s user-agent string. These are recorded for rate-limiting and abuse prevention.
We do not set any cookies on this site. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers. We do not embed third-party scripts other than the static-site assets served from the same origin.
2. Why we collect it
To respond to your inquiry and, if relevant, to discuss the product. Lawful basis under UK GDPR / EU GDPR Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest in responding to inbound business inquiries from professional contacts.
3. Where it goes
Submissions are stored in a database hosted on infrastructure contracted by us, accessible only to the data controller. If email-notification is configured on a given deployment, a notification of each submission is sent to a single inbox we control via the configured SMTP provider.
We do not sell, rent, or otherwise transfer this data to any third party for marketing purposes. We do not use it to train models. We do not enrol you in a mailing list or automated nurture sequence.
4. How long we keep it
Contact submissions are retained for up to 24 months from the date of last contact, after which they are deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time (see Your rights below).
5. Your rights
Under UK / EU GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased (“right to be forgotten”);
- restrict or object to our processing;
- request a copy of your data in a portable format;
- lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (UK) or your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@orbaos.com with the word Privacy in the subject line. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Changes to this notice
